I love a challenge. Every once in awhile I have a mom bring me a baby that just doesn’t like getting their photo taken. It’s just too much structure, or too scary, or they baby is just plain ornery. Well, Little Ellie is one of those babies that really doesn’t want to get her photo taken.
I LOVE getting a few photos of these babies with smiles. Not that I’m the master and all the photos have smiles, BUT getting those important few are rewarding! Even just capturing the baby/child interacting with their surroundings they way they do is so beautiful. It’s who that child really is, and I want my images to portray that.
On top of some regular images, we did a “smash the cake” session! TOO FUN! Little Ellie was so gentle and particular. Very feminine in the way she gently took off each piece of candy to happily devour it!
Smash the cake sessions are done for one year sessions. I provide the cake (white cake with white frosting), balloons, and any accessory for the child to wear. Suuuuper fun memories captured at smash the cake sessions!
I appreciate your patience with us and our little sweetie. We will be back and hold onto hope that someday she may take direction. Thanks for the fun!
I love the pictures of our beautiful Ellianna! The smash the cake idea is great. I can’t wait to see the pictures in person.
